Consignments / We Also Buy Your Jewelry

At Vintage Jewelry By Teresa, we offer you a place to sell your vintage and antique jewelry. We accept consignments on jewelry that
dates from 1950 back to 1800's. We believe our customers will enjoy wonderful jewelry from “A Time Ago...”.

If you decide to contact us about your jewelry that you wish to place on consignment, please examine your jewelry first. Please be
certain that your jewelry has had no repairs, there are no missing pieces or stones, the closures are in working order, etc. Items
must be clean with no need of repairs. Please note that we do not accept watches.

This is what we do for you:

We are not appraisers and do not offer advise or appraisals on your jewelry. We photograph your jewelry and list it as accurately as
we can. We rely on the information that you supply to aid in the listing. Please be as detailed as possible. We list your jewelry for the
mutually agreed upon selling price.

Given the time and cost involved in photography, listing, contacts, and distribution, we generally only accept consignments for items
of moderate value ($75.00) and above and a limit of six items. In general, we do not accept consignments of single pieces with
estimated selling prices less than $75.00...although we do sometimes buy less expensive items in groupings.

Please email us the following information for each piece of your jewelry:

Take CLEAR photographs of each item along with close-ups of details, makers marks, or signatures. Keep your
photos as clear as possible.
Include as much detail as possible when e-mailing. We do not accept jewelry that must be repaired, dirty, wear which
makes the jewelry undesirable.
Include measurements in e-mail.
Craftsmanship? Is it well made, does the piece have detailed work, what type material is it made of?
What age is the piece?
What type of closure does this item have?
All relevant information that will help in the aid of this listing.
For consignments: The minimum acceptable price(s) you wish to realize for each item. (This is what the item will be
listed for.)
If you are asking us to buy: The minimum acceptable price you will accept.

Please allow up to 10 days for response. If for some reason you have not heard from us, please drop us a line to be sure we
received your email.

Do not ship jewelry without prior approval

Items accepted for consignment are first shipped to us where we photograph,
list, and ship to the end buyer. We must be in physical possession of consignment
items in order to effectively market them and avoid misrepresentation. The item
is usually listed no longer than six (6) months.

Payment:

Payment will be made within 30 days after the sale of your goods. In the event of a
return, your item will go back for sale. (Please read policy for returns).

Fees:
Our per item commission rates are tiered as a percentage of the
mutually agreed selling price or final price.
